The purpose of this topic is providing information about how to help developing CAAP documenting it,
the aim is to give new developer all info needed to quickly start developing but also avoid current developers to search a lot in the code before finding the line/s to correct.

I thought that we need to provide the following info :

Some of these topics are already covered in this forum in various threads, we need to regroup them.

I talked with CAGE and we agree about this, and we also agree that this is a temporary topic until we set up a proper wiki.

I and other mods will keep this topic up to date until we switch to a wiki.

Setting up your environment for developing CAAP

Choose your weapon / or IDE as some might say, just a few no complete list

Set up Github for your platform

When you've set up github, you can fork CAAP from https://github.com/magowiz/Castle-Age-Autoplayer and can start coding. Changes are only present in your fork and can be pulled into the master branch with a pull request. Check githubs help pages for further info.
